Vice President - Global Quality, Safety and Environment

We are seeking a highly experienced leader to join our organization as Vice President - Global Quality, Safety and Environment. This is a strategic, high-impact leadership role responsible for shaping and driving the Global Quality, Safety and Environment roadmap across KK Group.

 

The successful candidate will be responsible for the management of Global Quality, Safety, and Environment (QSE) across the KK Group. This role ensures that the KK Group operates as a professional and competent partner, consistently delivering products that meet customer specifications and expectations, while fostering a strong culture of safety and maintaining a secure global working environment. Furthermore, the successful candidate will maintain and develop KK’s management systems and practices in alignment with relevant standards, in close collaboration with stakeholders. Mastery of core quality and process improvement methodologies and tools — such as APQP, Six Sigma, and CMMI —will be essential to ensure predictable quality from idea to delivery and service.

 

This position is a part of the Global Operations Senior Leadership Team, and will work closely across all our manufacturing sites. The functional responsibility includes:

Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Drive the development and execution of the Global Operations Strategy within Quality, Safety, and Environment, ensuring alignment with company goals and long-term vision.

Operational Excellence

  • Establish effective management structures, meeting routines, and reporting systems to ensure timely, high-quality deliverables. Support M&A integration, focusing on consistent Quality Systems across entities.

Health, Safety & Environment

  • Ensure compliance with global HSE laws and standards. Develop policies and programs that foster a safe, sustainable, and compliant workplace across all locations.

Quality Assurance

  • Oversee quality operations and manage the Non-Conformity Report (NCR) system to ensure corrective actions are implemented and verified. 

Auditing & Compliance

  • Plan and conduct internal and external audits. Track results, follow up on findings, and ensure timely corrective actions.

Management System Governance

  • Maintain an effective Management System aligned with external requirements and internal needs. 

Continuous Improvement

  • Analyze QSE data to identify risks and opportunities. Lead corrective actions and drive improvements through global Q-Council meetings.

Cross-Functional Alignment

  • Promote strong collaboration across Global Operations and the wider KK Group to ensure alignment and value creation.

People Leadership

  • Inspire and develop a diverse & inclusive  global team. Lead by example in integrity, accountability, and collaboration.

Our requirements

  • Minimum bachelor's degree within a Quality Management is required.
  • Over 10 years of progressive leadership experience in Quality Management within international industrial companies at senior level as well as proven track record on leading a large quality organisation. Solid background working in organizations with their own product portfolios and development functions.
  • Certified Lead Auditor in ISO 45001, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 31000.

 

Travel:

You will be required to travel up to 20-50 days per year.

 

Location:

The location will be Ikast or Hammel, Denmark.

 

Organisation:

You will be reporting to the Chief Operating Officer in KK Group.
