Senior IT PLM Architect

We are seeking an experienced Senior IT PLM Architect with deep expertise in the PTC product suite, especially Windchill, to lead the design, architecture, and optimization of our enterprise PLM landscape. Responsibilities

What You Will Do

  • Architect, design, and implement enterprise PLM solutions using PTC Windchill
  • Lead system integration between PLM and related enterprise systems (ERP, CAD, MES, etc.)
  • Define PLM architecture standards, governance, and best practices
  • Optimize performance, scalability, and reliability of the Windchill environment
  • Provide technical leadership for PLM upgrades, migrations, and new deployments
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Ensure security, compliance, and data integrity across PLM platforms
  • Support continuous improvement and innovation within the PLM ecosystem

Our requirements

What You Bring

  • 3+ years of experience in PLM architecture and implementation
  • Strong hands-on experience with PTC Windchill (configuration, customization, and administration)
  • Deep knowledge of the PTC ecosystem (e.g., Creo, ThingWorx, Codebeamer – preferred)
  • Experience integrating PLM with ERP and other enterprise systems
  • Knowledge of Electrical design Suite (Altium, Eplan)
  • Knowledge of MCAD systems (Onshape, Solidworks)
  • Strong understanding of system architecture
  • Experience with Java-based customization and Windchill APIs
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities

 

Preferred but not necessary

  • Experience with global, enterprise-scale PLM deployments
  • Knowledge of Agile and DevOps practices
  • Experience with cloud platforms and CI/CD deployments
  • PLM or PTC certifications
  • Background in manufacturing or engineering environments
