Senior Commercial Coordinator

As a Senior Commercial Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring success for KK service division projects, for example North Sea offshore wind, High Voltage and retrofit projects, by focusing on commercial administration support to Project Managers and field technicians organization to streamline their performance and efficiency. Working closely with a global team of Project Managers (PMs), you will be responsible for day-to-day commercial coordination and customer invoicing. Your responsibilities will include improvements in daily project management  and contributing to key strategic initiatives within the department.

Your expertise in project coordination will be crucial in maintaining an accurate and up-to-date project order book, providing reliable project updates, and ensuring seamless monthly reporting. This role offers a unique opportunity to drive commercial excellence, streamline operations, and support business growth through data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities

       Day-to-Day Commercial Coordination:

  • Oversee daily commercial operations, ensuring accurate progress tracking and project data are up to date
  • Set up and manage project details within the D365 system to maintain data integrity and workflow efficiency
  • Conduct regular meetings with Project Managers (PMs) and Finance Business Partners to review project status, cost updates, and financial progress
  • Take part in weekly service unit governance meetings to contribute to key strategic initiatives within the department
  • Monitor and report costs related to field technician hours, materials, travel, and other project expenses to support effective decision-making
  • Conducting invoicing based on data delivered and in close collaboration with Project Managers ensuring compliance with financial guidelines
  • Provide commercial administration support to Project Managers and field technicians to streamline their performance and efficiency (collect and select the best training offers, support travel management and cost optimization)

    Proposal & Quotation Preparation:
  • Collaborate with Project Managers (PMs) and Key Account Managers (KAMs) to develop cost estimates for new project quotations, leveraging insights from past project executions
    Monthly Project Reviews:
  • Maintain and update the project order book, incorporating the latest financial insights, revenue projections, and completion estimates; supporting the transfer of data from Excel into D365

 

Our requirements

  • Proven experience in project management with the strong commercial drive within global environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on process improvement and efficiency
  • High agility and adaptability for various project developments
  • Financial acumen and ability to analyze cost and project performance metrics
  • Expertise in using ERP systems such as D365 for project setup and reporting (would be an asset)
