Lead, Technical Project Lead - SCADA Systems M/F

In our office in Szczecin, we are looking for a Technical Project Lead – SCADA Systems. In this role, you will lead technical projects within the SCADA Systems department, ensuring successful planning, execution, and delivery of solutions in line with organizational standards and customer requirements.

Please note that this position is based in Szczecin. We work in a hybrid model (3 days in our Szczecin office and 2 days from home), so you should live within commuting distance.

Responsibilities

  • Define project scope, objectives, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to agreed quality standards.
  • Act as the primary technical authority for assigned projects.
  • Guide engineering teams and ensure compliance with technical specifications and standards.
  • Manage cross-functional project teams and allocate resources effectively.
  • Promote close collaboration between engineering, operations, and other relevant departments.
  • Serve as the main technical point of contact for customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular status meetings and provide clear, transparent project updates.
  • Identify potential risks and issues at an early stage.
  • Implement mitigation strategies and escalate critical topics when necessary.
  • Ensure adherence to internal and external quality standards.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including design files, BOMs, and compliance records.

Our requirements

  • Technical degree (Engineering or equivalent).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in product development and/or technical project management.
  • Proven experience in leading technical projects.
  • Familiarity with SCADA systems and industrial automation.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks under time pressure and adapt to change.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Systematic and detail-oriented working style.
  • Positive yet realistic mindset; flexible and proactive approach.
  • Willingness to travel (approximately 20–30 days annually).
  • Excellent English skills (spoken and written).
  • Electrical qualification certificates up to 1 kV.
