Purpose of Role

In this role, you will be an important, trusted partner for employees, managers, and external stakeholders, ensuring accurate payroll administration, high-quality payroll processes, and compliance with labor legislation and internal policies. You will play a key role in managing working time, absences, reporting, and coordination with external payroll vendors, while also contributing to the development and optimization of processes and systems.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of input data for payroll processing, including absence, working hours, and other payroll-related information
  • Working closely with external payroll providers and supporting effective coordination of payroll activities
  • Handling People-related tasks within your area of responsibility
  • Providing professional support and guidance to employees and managers on payroll and compliance matters
  • Handling absence-related tasks and communicating relevant information to employees and managers
  • Administering payroll and employee benefit matters related to employee absence
  • Supporting tax and insurance settlements in collaboration with external providers
  • Preparing reports, payroll data, and analysis
  • Advising business leaders on employment law and payroll-related matters within your area of expertise
  • Providing guidance in connection with the preparation of contracts, addendums etc.
  • Supporting internal and external audits
  • Contributing to the implementation of new payroll vendor and HR systems and software
  • Supporting the implementation of new employee benefits in payroll processes
  • Participating in projects related to payroll, compliance, and the continued development of the function
  • Identifying opportunities to improve payroll processes, data quality, and employee service

Our requirements

  • You have several years of experience in a similar role within payroll, compliance, or HR administration
  • You can communicate fluently in Danish and English
  • You have experience working with payroll in a manufacturing environment and understand the specific requirements associated with this type of organization
  • You have solid knowledge of Danish employment law and social security regulations
  •  You have hands-on experience with time registration, absence management, and payroll processes
  • You work in a structured and detail-oriented manner, with a strong focus on accuracy and quality
  •  You are service-minded and motivated by supporting employees and managers
  • You have strong communication and collaboration skills and are comfortable working with stakeholders across the organization
  • You are confident working with payroll data, reporting, and analyses
  •  You have strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel
  •  You have a relevant educational background in employment law, economics, finance, payroll, or a related field
  • Experience with D365, including the Time & Attendance and HR modules, will be considered an advantage
  • You have valid driver’s license
