Responsibilities

  • Leading the formulation and implementation of comprehensive sales strategies to optimize revenue generation and market penetration for the company's services portfolio across diverse industries and sectors in the US market.
  • Providing visionary leadership and effective management to the US services sales team, fostering a culture of high performance, and ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Mentoring and coaching team members to enhance their sales competencies.
  • Cultivating strategic relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and partners to discern evolving needs, identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling services, and bolster customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Conducting thorough market analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive threats, and growth opportunities within the US service market.
  • Utilizing insights to refine sales strategies and drive continual enhancement.
  • Collaborating closely with internal stakeholders, including marketing, product development, and operations teams, to synchronize sales strategies with overarching business goals and ensure seamless service delivery to clients.
  • Establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to gauge the efficacy of sales initiatives.
  • Monitoring sales performance, analysing data, and preparing regular reports and presentations for senior management.

  • Developing and implementing pricing strategies that reflect the value proposition of the company's services and maintain competitiveness.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards governing service sales activities.
  • Identifying and mitigating risks associated with sales contracts and agreements to safeguard the company's interests.
  • Developing and executing sales strategies tailored to the unique requirements and market dynamics of the US wind energy sector, ensuring alignment with KK Wind Solutions' global sales framework.
  • Coordinating closely with Danish R&D and product development teams to align US sales initiatives with the latest technological advancements and product offerings.
  • Representing KK Wind Solutions at industry conferences and events in the US, promoting the company’s capabilities and fostering strategic partnerships.
  • Overseeing the adaptation of Danish service models to meet US regulatory requirements and industry standards, ensuring compliance and operational efficiency.
  • Implementing sales training programs based on HQ methodologies to enhance the competencies and performance of the US sales team.
  • Facilitating the transfer of headquarters' best practices in wind turbine service and maintenance to the US team, ensuring consistent service quality and operational excellence.
  • Recruiting and developing salespeople.

 

Your Profile:

  • Possess a Master's in Business Administration or related field or foreign equivalent degree, and 36 months of experience in technical sales and/or business development, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Knowledge of the wind turbine industry, particularly in service sales, including O&M, retrofits, upgrades, and long-term service agreements.
  • Understanding of wind turbine technology and Turbine Condition Monitoring.
  • Strong understanding of service models and maintenance strategies for wind turbines.
  • Solid understanding of wind farm operations.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools, such as D365, Power BI, and DAX.
  • Knowledge of financial modeling and contract negotiation specific to service agreements in the wind industry.
  • Understanding of regulatory frameworks and compliance standards in the wind energy sector.
  • Familiarity with renewable energy policies and incentive programs.
  • Knowledge of contract structures specific to the wind industry, including power purchase agreements (PPAs), service agreements, and O&M contracts.
  • Availability to travel, domestically and internationally, monthly to bi-monthly, sometimes with limited notice.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the US without work visa sponsorship
