Engineer - Mechanical Engineering M/F

We are looking for a Senior Service Engineer (Mechanical) to join our Service Engineering team in Szczecin. In this role, you will be responsible for handling mechanical aspects of customer projects across all stages – from quotation through to final testing and delivery.

You will work closely with customers, internal stakeholders, and project teams, ensuring high-quality engineering solutions and smooth project execution.

Responsibilities

  • Manage mechanical aspects of customer projects from quotation to FAT (Factory Acceptance Test)
  • Act as a key technical contact for customers throughout project lifecycle
  • Support Service Engineering activities, including:

       Retrofit and re-engineering solutions
       Spare parts and service kit implementation

  • Create and update technical documentation:

       2D and 3D CAD drawings (SolidWorks         preferred)
       Bills of Materials (BOM)
       Work instructions

  • Coordinate mechanical tasks with engineering, sourcing, planning, and production teams
  • Support quotation preparation and handover to Key Account Managers
  • Ensure project delivery according to agreed timelines
  • Provide first-line technical support (e.g. via ticketing systems)
  • Maintain and update master data related to service products

Our requirements

Education & experience

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar field
  • Alternatively, several years of relevant experience
  • Experience in mechanical design and engineering in industrial environments

 

Technical skills

  • Mechanical design principles (2D & 3D)
  • Machinery and equipment operation
  • Project management basics
  • Experience with CAD software (SolidWorks preferred)
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office

Personal skills

  • Structured and well-organised, with strong self-management
  • Customer-focused approach
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
  • High level of integrity and accountability

Languages

  • Polish – fluent
  • English – good working proficiency
