Senior Project Manager – Customer Development Projects

Drive complex customer development projects in a dynamic wind energy environment

 

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our Power & Controls division. This is a role for someone who thrives in complexity, brings clarity to uncertainty, and leads with structure, collaboration, and sound judgement.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver complex customer development projects with full accountability for outcomes.
  • Act as the primary project interface towards customer Project Managers and joint project governance forums.
  • Establish and maintain clear project scope, schedule, cost baseline, and risk profile across parallel development activities.
  • Ensure key project trade-offs are surfaced early and that decisions are taken with full visibility of delivery impact.
  • Own and manage project risks and opportunities within defined authority limits; prepare, recommend, and escalate risks beyond mandate.
  • Ensure consistent delivery performance while establishing and reinforcing structured project practices.
  • Coordinate cross‑functional stakeholders (engineering, quality, supply chain, operations, sales/KAM) to ensure aligned execution.
  • Mentor and coach Project Managers through guidance, peer reviews, and governance participation.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of project management practices, tools, and ways of working within the PMO.

Our requirements

  • Master's degree or Bachelor's degree in Eng., Business, Project Management, or a relevant discipline
  • 5–8+ years of experience in project management within complex engineering, technology, or industrial.
  • Strong project integration capability across scope, schedule, cost, risk, quality, and stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to manage uncertainty, changing requirements, and development‑driven risk in engineering projects.
  • High maturity in stakeholder management, including senior customer and internal interfaces.
  • Decision‑oriented mindset with the ability to frame options, trade‑offs, and recommendations clearly.
  • Solid governance discipline with focus on transparency, traceability, and accountability.
  • Practical application of value‑based project management principles in complex, real‑world environments.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, suitable for executive and customer‑facing contexts.
  • Recent or actively maintained Project Management certification (PMP or equivalent) is advantageous.

 

 

Location

This role can be based in our offices in Ikast or Hammel, with flexibility for hybrid work.
