Project Manager - NPI M/F

As an NPI Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing the introduction of new products into production, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on time, and within scope.
You will collaborate closely with teams across Engineering, Production, Logistics, Quality, Test, and Supply Chain to ensure smooth launches and successful production ramp-ups.
Additionally, you will lead and coordinate a cross-functional team of approximately 15 specialists, driving alignment and execution throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

 

  • Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) projects from planning through implementation and production ramp-up.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, timelines, and milestones.
  • Collaborate with Product Engineering, Process Engineering, Production, Logistics, Quality, and Test departments.
  • Drive project execution according to agreed plans and business objectives.
  • Conduct project risk assessments and implement mitigation plans in line with the KK Project Model.
  • Monitor project progress, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Ensure effective stakeholder management and regular status reporting.
  • Facilitate cross-functional communication and decision-making.
  • Support the continuous development and improvement of NPI project management practices within Manufacturing.

Our requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience managing complex product introduction, industrialisation, or manufacturing projects.
  • Strong knowledge of APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) and assembly manufacturing processes.
  • Experience with project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
    Practical understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement tools.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of working within a global matrix organisation.
  • Demonstrated ability to take ownership, drive actions, and achieve project objectives.
  • Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and team collaboration skills.
  • Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken.

Nice to Have

  • PMP, PRINCE2, IPMA, or equivalent project management certification.
  • Experience in the renewable energy, wind industry, or highly regulated manufacturing sectors.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems and manufacturing technologies.
