Finance Manager specialist – Group Accounting & External Reporting

As the Finance Manager specialist, your responsibilities will encompass the following:

• Play a leading role in the month-end closing and consolidation process, including preparation of the consolidated Monthly Report figures
•  Ensuring optimal utilization of the Group Reporting & Consolidation system (Cognos), including maintenance and development of the tool by acting as the system owner and super user.
• Active participation in the preparation of the company's Annual Report(s) and providing assistance in the yearly IFRS Reporting to A.P. Møller Holding including the preparation of documentation for auditors.
• Active participation in projects related to financial processes and optimization across Global Finance.
• Provide technical guidance and training to stakeholders.
• Participating in projects regarding integration and financial controlling of acquired companies.
• Assisting in the update of internal accounting policies and processes for specific areas.

To excel in this role, we expect the following qualifications and attributes:

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant field.
• + 3 years of experience from a similar role
• Proficiency in consolidation processes, accounting, financial reporting, and cost center structures.
• A systems-driven mindset with an understanding of data flows.
• Knowledge of internal management accounting and reporting practices is preferable.
• Experience with Cognos (IBM Planning Analytics/TM1) is an advantage but not a requirement
• Business-level proficiency in English.
