Team Lead - Invoice-to-Pay Services M/F

Responsibilities

Operational delivery:

  • Oversee day-to-day invoice processing activities (PO, non-PO, and special invoice types where applicable).
  • Monitor workload, backlogs, and priorities to ensure service continuity.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies, tax rules, and local statutory requirements.
  • Support period-end and year-end closing activities related to invoice processing.


People leadership:

  • Set clear expectations and KPIs for team members and monitor performance.
  • Identify training needs and support individual development plans.
  • Foster engagement, accountability, and a collaborative team environment.

Stakeholder & quality management:

  • Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proactively identify and resolve recurring issues and process gaps.
  • Participate in audits by providing explanations, documentation, and corrective actions.

Projects, systems & transformations:

  • Actively participate in finance projects, including: ERP and system implementations (e.g. Dynamics 365 or similar), system integrations and automation initiatives.
  • Migrations of new companies/legal entities into the Invoice-to-Pay scope.
  • Support testing (UAT), data validation, and hypercare phases during go-lives.
  • Contribute to process design, documentation, and standardisation initiatives.
  • Act as a subject-matter expert for invoice processing in project discussions.
  • Identify opportunities for automation, simplification, and standardisation.

Our requirements

 

  • Strong understanding of invoice processing end-to-end, internal controls, and compliance.
  • Experience in supporting system implementations, integrations, or migrations.
  • Ability to work with KPIs, SLAs, and continuous improvement frameworks.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
