Our customers are requesting product upgrades on already installed wind farms around the world, and as a consequence our retrofit business is growing. You will join our project team, responsible for new customer projects. Here, you will work alongside our key account managers and our highly competent team of engineers and technicians. You will be deeply involved in both the bidding process and project execution.

Responsibilities

 

Drive technically challenging projects


As our new Technical Project Lead, you will have the end-to-end technical responsibility for specific customer retrofit projects. The projects involve configuration and implementation of new monitoring solutions.

 

This means that you will:

  • Communicate with the customers’ technical departments to clarify their needs.
  • Manage and support the technical aspects of the retrofit projects.
  • Contract management & reviews.
  • Manage the technical risks.
  • Guide your team through the entire project.
  • Coordination of activities with various stakeholders in Sales, Support, Engineering, manufacturing and local installation contractors.
  • Technical documentation preparation
  • Ensure that the technical solution is cost-optimal and quality gates are passed on time.
  • Report to management on progress, including financial performance compared to budget.

Our requirements

Skilled Technical Project Lead


As a person, you thrive in a can-do culture, where we constantly strive to exceed our customers’ expectations. You are self-driven, able to take the lead, and drive your projects independently after a thorough onboarding into our Project Model and an on-the-job training by fellow TPLs.

 

Moreover, you:

  • Have extensive experience within technical solutions and/or retrofit projects – preferably from the monitoring solutions industry or similar industrial applications.
  • Have solid experience from a similar role as a technical project lead.
  • It is an advantage, but not a requirement, if you bring a deep technical understanding of wind turbine technologies, especially within control panels and drive trains
  • Bring a BSc or MSc in electrical engineering, alternatively you have a degree in Service or Marine Engineering.
  • Have the flexibility to travel around 20 days a year to visit customers and wind farm sites around the world.
  • Speak and write English fluently.
