Responsibilities

  • Own and drive all assigned customer claims from receipt to closure
  •  Lead the customer dialogue throughout the full claim handling process
  •  Review contracts and align closely with Legal on obligations, exposure, and risk
  • Coordinate actions across Quality, Operations, Engineering, Sales, and Legal
  • Challenge and support the technical assessment of claims to ensure facts, root causes, and solutions are properly understood
  • Ensure clear structure, prioritization, follow-up, and progress across multiple claims
  • Support and drive negotiations toward timely and commercially sound settlements
  • Create transparency on claim status, key risks, actions, and decisions needed
  • Ensure claims are handled with discipline, speed, and clear accountability

Our requirements

  • Strong experience in claims handling, contract management, customer negotiations, or similar
  • Strong technical understanding and the ability to work confidently with engineering and operational topics
  • Able to challenge and spar with technical functions to secure the right progress and quality in each case
  • Strong commercial understanding and solid business judgment
  • Able to manage complex cases across functions and stakeholders
  • Structured, persistent, and disciplined in driving execution
  • Confident in customer dialogue and able to handle challenging discussions professionally
  • Understands how to balance technical, legal, operational, quality, and commercial considerations
  •  Strong communicator with a clear and firm approach
