Team Lead - Invoice-to-Pay Services M/F

As Team Lead – Invoice Processing Services, based in our Szczecin city centre office, you will ensure smooth, compliant and efficient invoice processing while supporting finance transformation and continuous improvement. 
You will lead a dedicated team within Global Shared Services, combining a people‑focused leadership style with operational ownership and close collaboration with stakeholders across the business. 
 
Your role and impact 
In this role, you will combine hands‑on operational leadership with strategic contribution. You will ensure high‑quality service delivery aligned with KPIs and compliance requirements, while fostering a culture of ownership, collaboration and continuous improvement. At the same time, you will be actively involved in finance transformation initiatives, helping shape future ways of working.

Responsibilities

Lead and inspire the team

  • Lead, coach and develop the Invoice Processing team through clear task allocation and feedback.
  • Set KPIs, monitor performance and support individual development.
  • Support onboarding and training of new team members.
  • Build a culture of engagement, ownership and collaboration.

Own operational excellence

  • Oversee daily invoice processing PO, non‑PO and special invoice types.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing across assigned legal entities.
  • Monitor workload and service levels; act as first escalation point for issues.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies and audits.
  • Support period‑end and year‑end close activities.

Drive quality & stakeholder collaboration

  • Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Identify recurring issues and drive sustainable solutions.
  • Support audit activities with documentation and follow‑up actions.

Shape the future through projects & transformation

  • Participate in finance projects, including ERP implementations and migrations.
  • Support UAT, data validation and hypercare during go‑lives.
  • Act as a subject‑matter expert for invoice processing.

Champion continuous improvement

  • Identify opportunities for automation and standardisation.
  • Support process optimisation initiatives.
  • Keep procedures and work instructions up to date and embedded.

Our requirements

  • Financial, accounting or business‑related education. 
  • At least 5 years of experience in Accounts Payable / Invoice Processing or a similar finance function (SSC/GBS experience preferred). 
  • 1–2 years of experience in a leadership or senior specialist role is an advantage. 
  • Strong understanding of end‑to‑end Source‑to‑Pay processes, internal controls and compliance. 
  • Experience supporting system implementations, integrations or migrations. 
  • Confidence working with KPIs, SLAs and continuous improvement frameworks. 
  • A structured, detail‑oriented and quality‑driven mindset. 
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving and stakeholder management skills. 
  • A proactive, ownership‑driven approach and the ability to thrive in a changing, project‑driven environment. 
  • A team‑oriented leader with a coaching and development mindset. 
  • Professional working proficiency in English.
