About the team and your responsibilities
As our new Senior Specialist – Technical Project Management, you will be based at our HQ in Ikast, and join a newly established team within power design of panels and power back-up. Your closest colleagues and collaborators in the product design core-team will be a Project Manager, a System Manager, a Mechanical Specialist and a Software Technical Project Lead.

 

You will also work closely with product managers, engineers and other internal business units on what features and architecture to design to attract new and existing customers to keep our products up-to-date and relevant now and in the future.

Responsibilities

In the Power Backup Systems team, we design energy storage systems for some of the largest wind turbine manufacturers. These systems are part of the critical backup of wind turbine operations and ensure that the wind turbine always has the right uptime under severe weather conditions.

 

Your key responsibilities are:

  • Product design, verification and documentation
  • Modularization, module design, verification and documentation
  • Product integration, activity planning, delegation of activities to back-office, technical project management etc.
  • Technology development and new product innovation.
  • Develop Product & Engineering Solutions WoW (way of working) e.g. tools, processes, etc.
  • Develop Product & Engineering Solutions competences by codifying knowledge, skills and competences to colleagues.
  • Provide help to KK colleagues whenever needed and appropriate - e.g. reviewing, etc.

Our requirements

About you:

We imagine that you are a highly skilled electrical engineer who thrive in a role where you get to immerse yourself into development and produce the right solutions for our customers. You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in electronic engineering or similar fields. It is an advantage, if you have experience in the wind industry and preferably have a good understanding of the coupling between electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems. If not, then you are excited by the opportunity to learn so.

 

Furthermore, you have solid experience and competences with electrical design, system integration and conceptualization. You have backup system experience and preferably EMC knowledge.

 

As we are implementing a new software tool called Pro Panel by ePlan, it would be an advantage if you have some knowhow or working experience with this.

 

As a person you are open minded and have a positive approach, structured but innovative and creative. You are self-driven, pro-active and has a will for success. You must be fluent in English both verbally and in writing.
