Senior Sales Engineer

We’re seeking a Senior Sales Engineer for our Houston office! At KK Wind Solutions, a world-leading partner to the wind industry, we supply a wide range of components and solutions to wind turbine manufacturers and operators globally. As part of our Monitoring Solutions business unit, you'll play a key role in helping asset operators extend the lifetime and enhance the performance of wind turbines by promoting cutting-edge digital solutions in safety and condition monitoring.

Responsibilities

Your primary goal will be to support the Senior Sales Manager during the sales phase and ensure technical alignment with the customer's technical team. To achieve this, you will:

  • Support the Senior Sales Manager in sales activities.
  • Ensure technical alignment with the customer's technical team within the Asset Owner segment.
  • Act as a liaison between our technical experts and the customer's technical team.
  • Provide technical expertise and solutions to meet customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Deliver compelling technical presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and gather customer feedback. The latter will help you to act as Voice of Customer providing feedback to our developers, product management etc. to ensure that KK’s value proposition remains competitive going forward
    Manage the technical aspects of the sales cycle, from lead generation to post-sales support.
  • Regularly report on technical sales activities and outcomes.
  • Expand the use of TCM and PCH in both new and existing wind turbine generator (WTG) fleets.
  • Represent KK Wind Solutions at industry events, potentially as speaker at relevant conferences.

Our requirements

The candidate must be able to document technical sales support results and have a minimum of 10 years of experience in similar positions within B2B.

Additionally, you should have:

  • Experience in the wind industry, ideally from a technology/service provider, wind turbine manufacturer, or wind asset operator, with a focus on technical sales support and business development.
  • Proven track record as a Senior Sales Engineer or similar in project sales, capable of handling complex stakeholder environments and lengthy sales processes.
  • Excellent English communication skills.
  • An educational background in engineering or a technical field.
  • A self-driven, creative, detail-oriented, and persistent approach to customer interactions, maintaining professionalism at all times.
    Willingness to travel to the customers’ locations in the US and Canada.
