KK Group Cooling Czech, part of the international KK Group, is a leading global supplier of cooling solutions for wind energy, railway applications, industrial equipment and the defence sector.

For our R&D centre in Olomouc, we are looking for an experienced technical professional who will take ownership of new product development from initial concept through to serial production.

The purpose of this position is to provide strong technical leadership throughout the product development process, ensuring robust, reliable and cost-effective solutions while coordinating closely with engineering, manufacturing, quality, purchasing, testing and customers.

• Lead the development of new products from concept through design, validation and serial production.
• Act as Product Owner, taking overall responsibility for the technical solution and product performance.
• Coordinate cross-functional cooperation between Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Quality, Testing and customers.
• Drive technical decisions with a strong focus on quality, reliability and cost efficiency.
• Provide technical support throughout the entire product lifecycle and identify opportunities for continuous product improvement.
• Contribute to the standardization of design solutions, engineering methods and technical processes.
• Ensure that technical requirements and relevant standards are appropriately reflected in product development.

• University degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
• At least 5 years of experience in technical product development.
• Practical knowledge of engineering methodologies such as DFMEA, risk analysis and technical change management.
• Experience with technical requirements and standards applicable to the railway industry.
• Ability to take ownership of a product and independently drive technical decisions.
• Strong cross-functional communication and coordination skills.
• Good command of English for daily communication in an international environment.
• Experience with cooling systems or thermal management is an advantage.
