Senior Lead Logistics

The Senior Lead Logistics will execute operational excellence in the material control process, aligning with KK Logistics' targets and KPIs. This role demands a strategic and results-oriented leader to ensure efficient ordering, securing, and managing of materials. The successful candidate will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to maintain optimum inventory levels and support departmental and company objectives.

Responsibilities

 

  • Execute operational excellence in the material control process in line with KK Logistics targets and KPIs.
  • Ensure that departmental KPI targets are achieved and support peers as needed.
  • Maintain optimum inventory levels to meet functional targets.
  • Order and secure materials as per purchase agreements from approved suppliers.
  • Release yearly and quarterly rolling forecasts to suppliers.
  • Follow up on parts and coordinate with sourcing and SQA (Supplier Quality Assurance).
  • Reconcile vendor accounts and coordinate for NCR (Non-Conformance Report) replacements.
  • Escalate any delays in a timely manner for mitigation.
  • Maintain good interdepartmental relations and collaborate to achieve company objectives.
    Build and maintain strong business relationships with external suppliers.
    Cooperate and support peers on a need basis to ensure departmental and organizational goals are met.
  • Utilize ERP systems (preferably DAX) for efficient logistics management.
    Adopt a data-driven mindset to influence and drive results.
    Ensure attention to detail in all logistics operations and decisions.
     

Our requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • About 7 to 10 years of experience as a buyer or logistics coordinator.
  • Good knowledge and understanding of intercontinental trade arrangements.

  • Good Communication Skills Result Oriented Team Player Data driven mindset Attention to details Influencer, Change agent, Team player Thinker, rational and data based decision maker.

  • Basic Project and program management knowlede Strong commercial and financial acumen

  • Adaptable to flexible and dynamic organizations Entrepreneur, agile, open minded flexible and dynamic Emphatic and able to take decisions and risks

  • Good and fast in establishing and building professional relationships -

  • Proficiency in ERP systems (preferably DAX).
  • Good proficiency (R/W and Speak) in English Travel to other KK sites for KKWS integration and processes learning
