In our factory in Szczecin, we are seeking a Program Manager who will play a pivotal role in Planning & Execution, monitoring & controlling NPI-NRE Cost (Budget vs. Actual). This person will be a Single Point of Contact with Customers related to NPI Project Deliverables.

 

As Program Manager, you will be responsible for new product introduction (NPI), managing the effective implementation and distribution of new products for their organizations, handling launch aspects, and verifying that quality control complies with all project requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Detailed planning of the NPI Project in collaboration with other functions like Logistics, Production, and Test Development within Global Operations, etc.
  • Drive execution of the NPI Project as per plan and provide status updates to the PMO.
  • Conduct NPI Project risk assessment and mitigation (following the KK Project Model).
  • Evaluate the deliverables of NPI Engineers (PE/QA/LOG/Test) against the NPI Checklist
    Manage technology transfer projects.

Our requirements

Competencies:

  • Knowledge of Project Management tools and techniques.
  • Knowledge of APQP, SMT/HMT production processes, Finished Assembly production (Automation), and new processes within electronics manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of Lean tools and techniques (Strong understanding of Industrial Engineering concepts).
  • Business acumen and understanding of Return on Investment (ROI) and Internal Rate of Return (IRR).
  • Knowledge of Component and Supply chain concepts (Forecasting, Lead time, MOQ, etc.) is nice to have.
  • Ability to take ownership of projects and drive actions towards project execution.
  • Strong basics of Industrial Engineering concepts like TAKT time, Cycle time, Lead time, etc.
  • KK Leadership Skills such as Building Team Resilience, Understanding of KK Culture & Business Model, Situational Leadership, and Manage & Lead Transformation.
  • Capability to coach and mentor colleagues and peers
  • Project management techniques (Work Breakdown Structure, PERT, CPM, etc.)

 

This role requires: 

  • Bachelor/Master of Engineering (Preferably Electronics & Systems).
  • 8-10 years of work experience.
  • PMP or IPMA certification
  • It is good to have but not mandatory to have a membership with organizations like PMP or IPMA.
  • Articles or books on Lean Transformation would be beneficial.
  • Knowledge of APQP.
