Lead - Operational Engineering M/F

This position is responsible for securing the technical scope of the change, including product documentation, engineering inputs, and validation activities. This role ensures that all product-related aspects of a change are clearly defined, assessed, and ready for implementation.

Working closely with the Process Change Owner, the Product Change Owner contributes technical expertise and product knowledge to enable smooth, coordinated, and successful end-to-end change execution.

Responsibilities

  • Technical and product ownership of assigned engineering changes
  • Definition and validation of product scope and change impact
  • Securing complete and accurate product documentation (drawings, BOMs, specifications)
  • Coordination of technical inputs and approvals from engineering functions
  • Assessment of technical feasibility, risks, and product impact
  • Support of change implementation from a product readiness perspective
  • Close collaboration with the Process Change Owner throughout the change lifecycle
  • Contribution to final ECN closure by confirming technical completeness

Our requirements

  • Strong understanding of product structures and engineering documentation
  • Ability to assess technical impact, risks, and feasibility of engineering changes
  •  Experience with Engineering Change Management (ECM/ECN) processes
  • Knowledge of PLM and ERP systems (e.g. Windchill, D365)
  • Familiarity with BOM structures, drawings, specifications, and validation flows
  • Ability to coordinate and review technical inputs from engineering functions
  • Understanding of product lifecycle and manufacturing impact of changes
  • Structured and detail-oriented approach to technical completeness
