Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute Preventive Maintenance (PM) schedules and Predictive Maintenance (PdM) (vibration, thermography, oil analysis).
  • Plan annual shutdown maintenance, spares strategy, and long lead items.
  • Perform root cause analysis (RCA/5-Why/FMEA) for repeated failures and chronic issues.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and automation faults on production equipment and utilities.
  • Drive mean time between failure (MTBF) improvement and mean time to repair (MTTR) reduction.
  • Maintain minimum–maximum stock of critical spares; raise purchase requests.
  • Evaluate and manage AMCs, OEMs, and service vendors;
    Ensure safe work practices: LOTO, PTW, PPE, machine guarding, isolation, and contractor safety.
  • Comply with relevant standards: ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 9001, energy norms, and Indian statutory requirements.
  • Support installation and commissioning of new machines, line upgrades, and utilities.
  • Drive TPM pillars (Autonomous Maintenance, Kobetsu Kaizen, PM pillar); implement 5S, Kaizen.
  • Train operators and technicians on basic care and abnormality detection.
  • Maintain calibration and statutory registers; prepare for internal/external audits.

Our requirements

  • Extensive expertise in mechanical systems (bearings, gearboxes, pumps, pneumatics, hydraulics).
  • Expert in troubleshooting, Maintenance & repair of Electrical System.
  • Basic PLC/HMI diagnostics (Siemens/Allen-Bradley/Schneider) and sensors/instrumentation.
    Familiarity with TPM/Lean, RCA tools, FMEA, and CMMS.
  • Ability to read electrical/mechanical drawings, P&IDs, and service manuals.
  • Good understanding of EHS practices and Indian statutory & Regulatory norms.
