Indirect Tax Manager - Global Tax & Compliance

We are seeking an experienced Indirect Tax Manager to join our Global Tax & Compliance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring full compliance with tax laws and regulations, managing all aspects of indirect tax processes, and providing strategic tax planning and advisory support. This role involves close collaboration with internal stakeholders and external advisors to optimize VAT processes, ensure accuracy in reporting, and identify both risks and opportunities for improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure accurate and timely preparation and submission of all VAT returns.
  • Monitor and interpret changes in tax legislation and regulatory requirements, assessing their potential impact on the organization.
  • Support regulatory audits and inquiries by preparing and providing the required documentation and analysis.
  • Collaborate with legal and finance teams to address compliance issues and provide expert tax guidance.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate compliance risks, ensuring effective implementation of corrective measures.
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve compliance procedures and internal policies to ensure alignment with applicable regulations.
  • Conduct regular internal audits to evaluate and enhance compliance processes.

Our requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Law, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in indirect tax compliance and tax planning.
  • Strong knowledge of indirect tax principles, laws, and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Proficiency in tax software and MS Office applications.
  • Very good command of spoken and written English.
  • Ability to work independently
  • Fluency in Polish is required due to cooperation with Polish tax authorities and local tax offices.
