Vice President -Project Management (Power & Controls)

As Head of PMO,

• Lead and develop the Project Management Office (PMO) team, building project management competencies and best practices.
• Oversee planning, execution, and governance of strategic projects for key customers, ensuring on-time, on-budget, and on-quality delivery.
• Ensure strong stakeholder and resource coordination across functions (Engineering, Operations, Quality, Sourcing) to deliver on project commitments.
• Act as senior escalation point for project issues and coordinate effective resolution.
• Drive standardization, reporting, and continuous improvement of project processes and tools.
• Represent the PMO in executive customer interactions, including steering committees and governance reviews.
• Track project performance and proactively manage risks, opportunities, and changes affecting project outcomes.

As a member of the Power & Controls leadership team,

• Contribute to the development and execution of the Power & Controls strategy, ensuring strategic projects are aligned with divisional objectives.
• Represent the project execution and delivery perspective in leadership decision-making forums.
• Collaborate with other senior leaders to drive cross-functional alignment, operational excellence, and customer-centric thinking across the division.
• Support initiatives for continuous improvement, risk management, and organizational development within Power & Controls.

• Master’s degree in Engineering, Project Management or related discipline
• 10+ years of experience in program/project management within industrial or technical B2B environments
• Proven track record leading strategic or complex projects, preferably in wind or renewable energy
• Deep understanding of project management methodologies and best practices. Project management certification or training is an advantage (e.g. IPMA D/C, PMI-CAPM/PMP, Prince2, Scrum, or Half Double)
• Strong leadership skills, with experience managing international and cross-functional teams
• Ability to collaborate effectively across a matrix organization
• Fluent in English (spoken and written); Danish skills are a plus
• Willingness to travel internationally (approx. 30–50 days/year)

This role can be based in KK Wind Solutions’ offices in Ikast or Hammel, with flexibility for hybrid work.
