As a Test Engineer, you will be part of the Cooling Division’s Test Lab, which is part of our Technology department. Together with your colleagues, you will be responsible for a wide range of tests, including performance tests and lifespan tests of coolers and components for cooling systems that the Cooling Division offers to the wind industry and industrial segments such as train, mining, and construction. The Test Lab plays a significant role in supporting the design development, optimization, troubleshooting, and approval of cooling modules and systems for the largest and most influential companies in the market segments in which the Cooling Division operates.

• Testing and determining cooling performance/pressure drop by measurement in a wind tunnel.
• Testing complete cooling systems with pumps, valves, etc.
• Sound measurement according to ISO 3744.
• Perform durability tests
• Processing, evaluating, and reporting on performed tests.
• Participating in cross-functional projects related to the development and optimization of test methods and equipment.

• Education as a marine engineer, mechanical engineer, or similar.
• Technical insight and preferably practical experience with testing.
• Knowledge of and preferably experience with thermodynamics and measurement techniques.
• Experience from the wind industry is preferred but not a must.
• Experience with the Microsoft Office package, including being an experienced user of Excel.
• Good English skills, both spoken and written.

Location:

This role is based in Cooling Division’s Test Lab in Horsens (Address: Ormhøjgårdvej 9, 8700 Horsens). Due to the nature of the testing work, we would require the Test Engineer to be working from the Test Lab 5 days a week.
