Senior Technical Sales Manager (HV/MV & BESS Infrastructure)

We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Sales Manager to support the development and delivery of KK Group’s BESS business.

Responsibilities

Technical Sales Proposal Management

  • Own and drive the end-to-end technical proposal process from RFQ to submission, ensuring all proposals are technically accurate, commercially aligned, and executable, while coordinating inputs across Sales & Business Development, System & Technology, and external partners.

Pre-Engineering & Solution Definition

  • Lead technical pre-engineering activities by translating customer requirements into clear system configurations, scope of supply, and interface definitions, ensuring alignment between solution design, cost targets, and delivery feasibility.

Costing & Quotation Support

  • Support the development of system cost structures and quotation inputs by aligning technical solutions with cost assumptions, identifying optimization opportunities, and ensuring competitiveness through standardized and simplified designs.

Technical Project Ownership

  • Act as the technical project owner across the full lifecycle from quotation to site acceptance, ensuring consistency between what is sold, engineered, and delivered, and enabling a smooth transition into execution.

EPC Interface & Execution Support

  • Serve as the primary technical interface toward EPC partners and installation teams, providing complete and accurate documentation, data, and guidance required to ensure efficient installation and commissioning.

 

Our requirements

Must-Haves

  • Proven experience within EPC project environments (renewables, BESS, wind, PV, or infrastructure).
  • Strong technical understanding of HV/MV systems, auxiliary systems, and general site infrastructure.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver projects from initial quotation through installation, commissioning, and SAT.
  • Ability to prepare and manage technical documentation packages for customers and EPC partners.
  • Strong stakeholder and requirements management capabilities.
  • Ability to interpret customer requirements and convert them into clear internal tasks and deliverables.
  • Experience coordinating suppliers, engineering teams, and installation contractors.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to simplify complex topics.
  • Strong sense of ownership, structure, and decision-making.

 

Nice-to-Haves

  • Knowledge of grid integration, system protection, and HV/MV control concepts.
  • Background working with utilities or renewable developers.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity considerations for system integration.
  • Established relationships within HV/MV supplier or EPC networks.
  • Experience contributing to product or solution roadmaps.
