Senior Lead - Digital & Engineering Excellence M/F

In our city center office in Szczecin we are seeking Senior Lead - Digital & Engineering Excellence. The position supports the implementation of the Product Lifecycle Management project within the Digital Thread Program by translating business requirements into scalable processes, standardized data structures, and robust governance frameworks.

The PDM Process Engineer ensures the PLM solution enables efficient product development, change management, and product master data integrity, while also driving process adoption and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze current product data and lifecycle processes and identify gaps and inefficiencies
  • Design and document future-state PDM processes aligned with PLM best practices
  • Define standardized frameworks for part creation, document control, and releases
  • Support definition of governance rules, ownership, and approval responsibilities (RACI)
  • Work closely with ECM (Engineering Change Management) Domain Leads and solution architects to align process design with PLM/ECM architecture
  • Translate business and user needs into business requirements, user stories, and process specifications
  • Support PLM configuration by defining business processes and product data structures required for the system setup
  • Facilitate cross-functional workshops and align stakeholders on process decisions
  • Support training materials creation, process documentation, and procedures
  • Support system and process testing (UAT), including test case definition and execution
  • Support long-term optimization of PDM usage and product data quality

Our requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Systems, Electrical, or related discipline)
  • Experience defining or improving product data standards (parts, documents, revisions)
  • Certification in Project Management is an advantage.
  • PDM knowledge and understanding of product lifecycle processes
  • Process mapping, standardization, and a continuous improvement mindset
  • Engineering Change Management (ECM) process understanding
  • Product data governance and data quality focus (documents, revisions)
  • Risk awareness in process and system design (impact analysis, data integrity, change risks)
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Ability to translate business needs into requirements
  • Structured, analytical thinking and attention to details
  • Strong communication skills (workshops, documentation, training support)
