Responsibilities

  • Responsible for operational support of procurement and logistics processes for direct materials, including purchase order execution in ERP/MRP systems, delivery monitoring, and ensuring production continuity.
  • The scope includes processing purchase requisitions and MRP suggestions, preparing and maintaining purchase orders (quantities, dates, parameters).
  • Recommending and executing PO actions in response to production plan changes, in line with internal rules and required approvals.
  • Provides support in delivery follow-up by monitoring supplier confirmations, contacting suppliers in case of delays, shortages, or discrepancies, and collecting and communicating key information (ETA, root cause, next steps) to relevant stakeholders, with escalation of risks impacting production.
  • Participates in escalation processes by preparing PO status overviews and supporting action tracking.
  • Supports invoice handling through verification of invoice accuracy against purchase orders and goods receipts, and coordinates issue resolution with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Provides support in logistics coordination with suppliers (delivery windows, transport alignment) and identifies and escalates logistics-related issues.
  • Responsible for regular tracking and updating of assigned KPIs, including support of inventory targets such as Days on Stock (DOS), as well as maintaining procurement master data for assigned suppliers and materials in accordance with agreed rules.

  • Educational Qualification Required: Master degree in Logistics / Supply Chain.
  • Breadth of the Role: Global.
  • Customer / Supplier Interaction: Yes - Discussing Requirements.
  • Years of Experience: 3+ Years.
  • Work Location: Bangalore Factory
  • Work Mode: Hybrid 3 Days from Factory + 2 Days WFH.
