We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Legal Compliance Counsel in support of the expanding Legal Compliance function as part of the Legal Governance, Compliance & Projects department. Our new colleague should be a team player who can navigate the complexities of a high-growth environment and contribute to the continued success and sustainability of our organisation and business.
This role will play a big part of the ambitious growth trajectory and foster a culture of compliance awareness across our organisation and in our business activities in general.
As Legal Compliance Counsel you will be supporting the entire organisation, locally and globally. You will be responsible for driving and supporting the expansion of a Legal Compliance function, collaborating with key stakeholders throughout the organisation, and embedding legal compliance practices across all levels of the organisation.
Compliance:
Develop, implement, and integrate a robust compliance framework tailored to the activities and risk profile of the entire organisation, locally and globally, entailing among others:
- Being on top of regulatory developments related to Legal Compliance, hereunder implementing and driving the organisation’s set-up in relation to NIS2, CRA, Data Act etc.
- Developing and delivering training programs to build and promote legal compliance awareness throughout the organisation.
- Leading the review and implementation of relevant global policies, guidelines and procedures.
- Driving a compliance culture with continuous improvements by assessing and enhancing processes and tools.
- Supporting PMI activities within specified legal compliance disciplines.
- Cooperating with and being the point of contact to external advisors on legal compliance matters.
Governance & Projects:
As a part of the Legal Governance, Compliance & Projects department, you will also take part in tasks related to Governance and Legal Projects in general, supporting the Legal Corporate/Commercial department and the future growth of KK Group.
- A master’s degree in Law or Business Law, preferably supplemented by at least 4 years of relevant experience from a law firm or an in-house legal position.
- Strong knowledge of compliance principles and best practices.
- Professional pride and constantly pursuing improvements when providing legal services.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams.
- Ability to work efficiently and independently.
- You are a team player who strives to build and maintain trustful and solid relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.

This position can be based in any KK Group's offices in Denmark, with flexibility for hybrid work.
