Lead - Sales & Operations Planning

This is a specialist role where data meets decision-making, and where your work will directly influence how we balance customer demand, production capacity, and material supply across our global operations.

Responsibilities

  • Create and update the global forecast and master plan.
  • Analyze big data to create trade-off scenarios impacting the supply chain.
  • Carry out monthly Portfolio, Sales, and Supply Reviews for your specific business area.
  • Predict future demand based on the analysis of historical data and the application of various analytical methods and techniques
  • Prepare & execute S&OP Master planning meetings monthly.
  • Maintain and improve forecast accuracy calculations.
  • Prepare and upload Budget Baseline data.
  • Analyze and evaluate sales lead times for forecasted items.
  • Act as support/backup role for Manager of Global S&OP
  • Ensure discipline of master data within forecast / master planning
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholder and participate in regular meetings with customers.
  • Participate in internal development projects.

Our requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management.
  • Experience in a similar role or in production planning, logistics, or supply chain management within the electro-mechanical industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft products, ERP systems, and preferably other planning or modeling tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders.
  • Ability to follow Sales & Operations Planning processes and present supply chain challenges.
  • Strong analytical skills for handling complex data and deriving insights.
  • Independent, results-oriented, and focused on achieving objectives.
  • Ability to balance broad oversight with detailed focus on forecast figures, ensuring data quality.
  • Comfortable addressing dilemmas and engaging in constructive confrontation.
  • Skilled in facilitating S&OP meetings.
  • Fluent in English.

 

 

Location:

This role can be based in our offices in Ikast or Hammel, with flexibility for hybrid work.
