Global Senior Sales Manager – PtX (Hunter Profile) M/F/D

Build the Pipeline for the Next Decade of Green Energy Storage

 

KK Group is expanding rapidly within Power‑to‑X (Green Hydrogen) and accelerating our impact on the global green transition. To support this growth, we are looking for an ambitious, proactive, and opportunity‑driven Global Senior Sales Manager—someone who thrives on opening new doors, creating commercial momentum, and transforming early-stage opportunities into long-term partnerships.

 

This role is not about maintaining status quo accounts.

It is a high-impact commercial role focused on new business creation, market expansion, and shaping projects from first conversation to contract signature.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify, target, and develop new customers and projects within PtX across defined priority markets
  • Drive early engagement with customers long before RFQ: shaping scope, influencing technical concepts, and positioning KK as preferred partner
  • Build and manage a robust opportunity pipeline, from lead generation and qualification through RFQ, negotiation, and contract signature
  • Lead the full sales cycle end-to-end, including value proposition development, commercial structuring and deal closure
  • Act as commercial orchestrator, mobilizing internal engineering, product, and operations teams to win complex, solution-based projects
  • Challenge customer assumptions and actively shape requirements toward scalable, bankable, and cost-optimized solutions
  • Convert pilot projects and first-of-a-kind deliveries into repeat business and long-term partnerships
  • Maintain a strong external presence: customer visits, industry events, and strategic dialogues with decision-makers
  • Provide clear pipeline transparency to management: deal maturity, risks, probability, and next actions

Our requirements

Experience

  • 7+ years in technical B2B sales, business development, or complex project sales
    (energy, renewables, grid solutions, PtX, or industrial systems)
  • Proven success in winning new customers or new projects in long‑cycle sales environments
  • Experience selling systems or integrated solutions rather than standalone components is a strong advantage

 

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong commercial instinct with the ability to move early in emerging opportunities
  • Comfortable navigating complex stakeholder landscapes (technical, commercial, executive)
  • Technically curious with strong business acumen—or vice versa
  • Skilled at turning complexity into clear customer value propositions
  • Fluent in English; Danish or German is an advantage

  • Willing to travel ~30–50 days per year, primarily in Europe

 

 

Location

This role can be based in our offices in Ikast or Hammel (Denmark), Kempen (Germany) OR Home Office in other parts of Germany.
