Director Specialist – Key Account Management (Power & Controls)

Responsibilities

Key Account Management:

  • Obtain detailed knowledge of the account’s organization, their product portfolio, their on-going projects, and secure this is shared across commodities.
  • Identify cooperation and sales opportunities
  • Process customer RFQ’s and work cross-functionally with colleagues to generate the best technical and commercial offering
  • Process ideas targeting increased business right from idea to implementation. Painstakingly drive the idea internally, build the business case and sell the new product or service
  • Keep a strong and tight relationship with the Accounts’ technical and commercial organization and their internal stakeholders
  • Contribute in development and adjustment of account strategy in order to support the overall business plan and targets for the account
  • Support the customer on a day-to-day business
  • Secure correct reporting, data and pipeline management in e.g. CRM
  • Support all operational activities where sales need to be involved towards the customers to ensure highest level of performance.
  • Drive customer negotiations to land new business and/or supporting the Key Account commodities across.
  • Secure timely preparation, process and level of RFQ and negotiations across Key Account commodities and divisions.

 

Our requirements

We are looking for a commercially strong and collaborative professional who thrives in a global, customer-focused environment.

  • 6-10 years of proven experience in Key Account Management within large OEM environments, with a proven ability to drive growth and create value for both the customer and the business
  • A basic understanding of electromechanical components and industrial environments
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen, with experience in budgeting, performance management, and delivering on business targets
  • Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships and align expectations across internal and external partners
  • Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects in an industrial or technical environment
  • A structured, analytical, and data-driven mindset, enabling you to translate insights into impactful decisions
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels in a global setting
  • A collaborative and inclusive leadership style, with a commitment to safety, quality, and company values
  • Cross-cultural awareness and the ability to operate effectively in an international matrix organisation
  • Fluency in Danish and English (written and spoken); additional languages are considered a plus

 

 

Location

This role can be based in our offices in Ikast or Hammel, with flexibility for hybrid work.
