Responsibilities

What you will be responsible for:

  • Lead the development and execution of the corporate strategic planning process, involving short-term and long-term objectives, market analysis, and competitive positioning.
  • Collaborate with department heads and senior leadership to align functional strategies with overall corporate goals.
  • Conduct thorough market research, industry analysis, and competitive benchmarking to identify emerging trends and opportunities.
  • Manage M&A / Post-Merger integration (PMI) end-to-end
  • Develop financial models and perform scenario analysis to assess the potential impact of strategic decisions and M&A targets.
  • Present strategic recommendations to the executive team in a clear and persuasive manner.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and industry developments to assess the effectiveness of implemented strategies..  
  • Partner with broader strategy and corporate development team in various phases of M&A planning including target evaluation and prioritization, transaction due diligence and acquisition business case development. 

Our requirements

What we are looking for:

Core qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, or a related field; MBA, CFA, or similar is an advantage
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate strategy, corporate development, management consulting, or related roles
  • Proven experience leading complex M&A transactions, including post‑merger integration and SteerCo engagement
  • Strong business and financial acumen, with advanced analytical and modelling skills
  • Experience working in fast‑moving, dynamic environments with multiple stakeholders
     

Personal skills & mindset

  • A structured and strategic thinker with a hands‑on, execution‑oriented approach
  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence across functions and seniority levels
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities, capable of translating complex topics into clear messages
  • A genuine interest in sustainability and the energy transition
     

Experience within wind, energy, or infrastructure markets is an advantage — but not a requirement. We value transferable skills and diverse perspectives.

Location:

This role can be based in any of our offices in Denmark, Poland or Spain with flexibility for hybrid work.
