Accountant - Invoice Processing Services M/F

For our office in Szczecin city centre, we are looking for an Accountant – Invoice Processing Services to join our team for a 1-year contract as maternity leave cover.

The team currently consists of approximately 20 members across multiple locations, including Poland, India, and China, working in a truly global environment. We operate in an international ERP system (D365) and process invoices for multiple legal entities. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience within a stable finance team and further develop your accounting skills.

In this role, you will support the Accounts Payable team by processing invoices, answering payment-related queries, and reconciling supplier statements. The team is responsible for ensuring that invoices and payments are properly approved and processed on time, while maintaining accurate records of vendor balances and supporting expense control.

Responsibilities

  • Review invoices for accuracy and proper approval
  • Process invoices to ensure correct and timely payment
  • Reconcile employee travel expenses
  • Match invoices with purchase orders
  • Answer queries from suppliers, contractors, and internal departments
  • Reconcile processed transactions by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances
  • Support the accounting team with other ad hoc tasks

Our requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in accounting
  • Good organisational skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good vendor relationship skills
  • Accurate data entry skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English, required for daily communication

 

We offer  hybrid working model, with 2 days working from home and 3 days working from the office.
